«Not to be missed«
For sunset lovers: St Paul’s Bay is a picturesque small rocky bay about one quarter mile square just south of Lindos town. You can enjoy your whole day by the sun, a great early cocktail at the café or even some snack for late afternoon. Perfect for relaxation so if you want to finally finish that book you started last summer, look no more!
Tip: You should better go either early in the morning or later in the afternoon since it’s usually quite crowded.
For surf lovers: Prasonisi, meaning a ‘green island’ in Greek, is the most southern point of the island. It’s a fascinating place as during summer months the two seas, the Mediterranean and the Aegean, ‘part’ and a sandy isthmus separates the wavy waters of the Aegean from the dead calm flat waters of the Mediterranean. Prasonisi is the only place in Greece and one of the very few in the world where this can be found. Prasoni has become a world-renowned paradise for windsurfers and kitesurfers thanks to the strong winds that blow there at that time, providing ideal conditions for lovers of those sports so in high season it’s full of activity and life. For windsurfing lessons and rentals check out Prasonisi Center (http://www.prasonisicenter.com).
For golden sand lovers: The stunning, naturally landscaped beach of Tsambika is a long and broad stretch of fine golden sand that shelves gently into the crystal clear emerald waters of the Mediterranean, offering its visitors everything they could possibly wish for on their beach holiday. Ideal for family time while watersports are waiting for those looking for a little more activity and crave for some adrenaline buzz. Above the beach, on an imposing rock, there’s the Monastery of the Virgin of Tsambika that has earned the beach its name.
For deep blue sea lovers: Kiotari beach has, over the years, become very popular due to its clear blue waters and grey-brown small pebbles. The deep blue waters are ideal for a rather long swim while you can either relax on a sunbed under an umbrella, or move a few steps further and enjoy the sun for free!
Tip: We advise you to visit Lighthouse beach so as to enjoy a drink, refreshment or some Greek meze after your swim.
For lounge beach bar lovers: Mojito beach bar is just a few minutes from the Villas and is known as the best beach bar in Rhodes! If you want to travel in the company of relaxing music, endless cocktails, a perfect beach and generally a place that you feel that time stops. Their motto will definitely convince you: ‘Ultimately the most beautiful things are simple, it suffices to know where to find them’.
Tip: You should definitely try their very well-known mojito but for light drink lovers do not miss their melon-rum cocktail.
For sea view and quite beach lovers: Gennadi beach it is! Sand and small pebbles as far as the eye can see. Basically a continuation of Kiotari, Gennadi is a vast beach where there’s always room for you and your friends to spread out your beach towels, since only parts of the beach are commercially organized. At Gennadi beach you can just relax and dream while looking at the endless clear blue waters, while of course you are just 2 minutes walk from your Villa!
For scuba diving enthusiasts: LEPIA Dive Center (http://www.lepiadive.com) in Pefkos is a group of young people with a strong passion for diving and their goal is to entertain their visitors in the best way possible. They decided to put aside the big cities and to seek the beauty of the enchanted island of Rhodes. Their intention is to reveal the excitement and adventures of the sea bottom and to provide their divers with a high quality dive, in the same way that they would like to experience them themselves.
